Course Description

The Level One Drama course is composed of both external and internal Drama Achievement Standards. All Drama Standards contribute towards Level 1 Literacy.
Drama is a mode of learning that challenges students to make meaning of their world.The aims of the course are to provide pathways into the performing arts and provide knowledge and skills that are transferable to a variety of artistic, social and work-related contexts.


Pathway

This course gives students a range of skills required in other subjects and all career pathways. A strong focus is on verbal and non verbal communication.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$50 to go towards attending shows during the year for assessment purpose.
