Course Description

Digital Technology covers a wide range of fields of study, from programing and computer science to digital media and web design. In this programme whilst we develop digital skills the focus is on the key competencies of managing self, thinking, problem solving and working with others. The aim is to develop your abilities to manage a project working independently, meet deadlines and solve problems along the way.

What skills will I learn?
The year has two main projects animation and robotics. Students develop outcomes individually and within a team. Animation will give students the opportunity to develop their creattive side using Adobe Animate to produce short animations for specific audiences and purposes. In robotics students will learn how to program, and construct a working robot.
