Food Technology includes the technology process, food hygiene, safety, nutrition, equipment study and methods of cooking.
Students will be guided through the technology process enabling them to solve problems by learning about relevant equipment and materials. The students will have times where hands on experience will provide real life experiences and allow them to design and produce a product that is fit for purpose.
All units of work are designed to enlighten the student about healthy eating and encourage problem solving, creativity and team work.
