Level 2 Te Reo Māori
Course Description
The course will continue on from Year 11 Te Reo Māori and build on to the foundation of NCEA Level 1 skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
You will have an opportunity to choose your pathway of study this year in discussion with the teacher. There is no compulsion to attempt all assessments available.
This year Level 2 learners will be able to sit a Level 3 Māori Performing Arts standard; Perform a Māori Performing Arts bracket. These credits can be used to help support your Level 2 pass total and make gain a head start on your Level 3 credits for 2022. Note: Participation in the school's Kapa Haka group will support you in gaining this standard if you wish to do it.
