Options Evening
Our options evening will take place on Wednesday 12 August, 6:00pm - St John's College (New) Gym. Please book online to register your attendance.
The decisions that students make around their academic courses for next year will be some of the most important decisions that they make this year. It is important that they make these decisions with the support of their parents and the college to ensure that they can work towards their future career aspirations. It is important to get things right...
All students (Y9-12) are encouraged to attend our options evening so that they receive the very best support and guidance to help them make these all important subject choices. The evening will start with an address by Mr Tester, Deputy Principal. This will give an overview of NCEA and how the qualifications system is administered as well as explaining how to go about making subject choices. There will be an update on the pathways available for students and this will be supported with information from our Head of Careers, Ms Quinnell.
This will be followed by the opportunity for you to talk to faculty staff and find out more about the courses that are on offer at St John's College for 2020. The event will start promptly at 6:00pm in the college gym.
